"I meet Anand
at the Curry Charmers as a volunteer when he was making over
1700 meals a week for the Victorian fire victims. It was a pleasure
to work with him in this way and he is one of the most humble
people I have ever met, his food is amazing and his heart is
big. His love of food definitely comes through his meals!! Even
my fussy children love his curries! Thank you Anand and Norbu
for everything"

The food at this
restaurant must be the cheapest and best Indian food in Melbourne!
The chef is a 5 star chef trained in one of India's best catering
colleges, according to the menu. There are so many dishes to
choose from, and the taste is out of this world! I've been back
several times to eat there. I'm still working my way through
the menu. All different fresh spices and marinations are used
and the Tandoori platter is to die for!!! YUMMMMMMira, regular

Curry Charmers
is the best and the cheapest Indian restaurant we have been
to. To eat like a king for only $20 a head is pretty rare these
days. The food is sensational, it's a huge menu too! Try it,
we go back there all the time!

I read the review
and went there too. The food is so yummy and not like other
Indian food. It has delicate fragrant spices and you can tell
a real chef has cooked it! In fact, Anand will come and tell
you all about the dishes if you ask. So many vegetarian choices...and
Tandoori platter is so good!

What a gourmet
discovery! Mr Samosa-man, Anand, certainly charmed my taste
buds. The samosas and pakoras are to die for - the best you'll
ever taste (anywhere).
The lamb is mouthwatering, whether it is the tender shanks,
the spinachy Saag Gosht (my favorite) or the specialty Bhuna
Gosht.
The vindaloo prawns are amazingly good (Michelle's favorites)
and go down well with a Kashmiri or garlic naan, all washed
down with the best mango lassi you will ever try.

Princess Restaurant. Shop 4/68-70 Princes Hwy, Beaconsfield

Been taking the
family here for years. Jade Princess is a Malay / Chinese restaurant.
I think its the only Asian restaurant in the area. Yet its really
friendly, service is excellent but what really blows me away
is how cheap it is. Fantastic value. Makes a night out with
the family affordable. Dirt Cheap. Extensive menu. All good.
Not a flash restaurant. Pretty basic fit out. But doesn't matter.
Excellent food and service at great value brings us back time
and time again.

"One of the
many reasons Melbourne leaves Sydney for dust when it comes
to dinning out - shear heaven, service the way it should be,
prompt but not rushed, friendly but not in your space"

Chicken Masala
is my favourite. Been going for a while with a good friend of
mine. They will make the curry as hot or as mild as you like.
They are friendly, very hospitable.

"This is
in my opinion (and that of everyone who I have taken to Siam
Bayside) the best Thai restaurant around. The food is fantastic
and the service provided by Toy and her staff is second to none.
The range of dishes available is extensive and caters to all
tastes, from the mildest dishes through to the hot and spicy.
On average it costs around $70.00 for two of us, which includes
drinks."
